London, England, October 23, 2009 – A revolutionary new game that has won the approval of the England rugby team is also expected to spread worldwide faster than wildfire.
Â
We are talking about SIM rugby, the latest craze that’s more popular than football, cricket or and every other game that was first played in England but have been taken over by others.
Â
What is SIM rugby? If you’re familiar with rugby, you should be able to play this game. All it involves is replacing the ball with a SIM card. The game is so addictive, players’ family members are annoyed that they are being neglected.
Â
This is truly a team game, there’s no room for prima donnas. If a player drops the SIM the whole team has to pitch in to find it. However SIM rugby is a free flowing game and players tend to have fewer injuries.
Â
The man who dreamed up the game, Robert “Bob” Babbington, World President and Global Guardian-in-Chief of the United World-Wide Intra-Continental SIM Rugby Federation (a WPGGCUWWICSRF for short) believes that SIM rugby is set to dominate world sports in a manner never seen before.
Â
He believes there’s plenty of room for improvement in classic rugby, and considers SIM rugby the next step in the evolution of the game.
Â
The SIM card has always been something that has fascinated Bob. No matter what he looks at, it reminds him of his SIM. Even a half eaten piece of toast!  One afternoon he took his SIM card to the game of rugby that he was due to be playing. As a sort of warm up exercise, Bob and a couple of friends casually began throwing his SIM card around. They watched it fly like a Frisbee-cum-spaceship-cum-kingfisher through the air. The three teammates stared at each other. Intuitively they knew that that was it; it was the start of something extraordinarily big.
Â
The game is all about passing on the SIM and Bob has already developed some passes such as The Billy Pass, The Cheese Pass, The Frisbee Pass and The Giraffe Pass. You can learn how to make these passes by watching the videos on the game’s website given below.
Â
We’ve said earlier that the game is addictive. How addictive is it? The average fan, somebody like Bob, for instance, is more passionate about SIM rugby than anything else under the sun, his wife and family included. The true lover of the game thinks and breathes SIM rugby and hopes to see the game dominate the lives of people in a way never seen before.
Â
England are the best team in the world, but that’s not saying much as only a few countries have heard of the game.
Â
O2, the mobile phone company, sensing a massive potential for growth, has announced that they would sponsor the England SIM Rugby team as well as the regular rugby team..
